Pets

The closure of a job opening depends on a hamster

Your future foreign employee is considering not taking the job, basically due to a pet…

To a CEO considering a good employee, this might seem a bit ridiculous at first. Relocare’s experience is that it really isn’t that silly.

Research shows that sixty-five percent of all international relocations fail due to an unhappy family, and relocating the pet might be the best and safest start for a family with small children, to whom their pet is the most important thing in the whole world. Just after mom and dad, of course.

It can also be that the dog in Canada is a major concern for the single person considering relocating for a job opportunity in Denmark. It is also highly likely that it is the same relocated dog, that will later on functions as a door-opener in the new neighborhood for the expat whom as arrive to settle for a new life.

For an elite dressage rider, relocating a horse makes the whole difference for the job to be done 80% or 100%. Happy people doing what they love in their private life, highly influence their job performance. That goes for expats too.

Pets belong to the family. At Relocare, we truly understand that they can’t just be replaced, and companies in Denmark are starting to see that too.

Relocating pets as an investment for the company and the employee makes a whole lot of sense.

relocating pets to denmark

Your pet might need different vaccinations, a new passport or would need to be put in quarantine for a while before the Danish authorities will accept it in Denmark.

The rules are many and can also be influenced by the rules in your present country. Sometimes it can takes weeks to get your pet from one country to the other, due to rules and regulations.

Relocare will be happy to help you in dealing with red tape and make sure, that your relocation to Denmark can easily involve relocation of pets too.
