Per Ole Nielsen is partnership and business development manager at Relocare.

Per works with partnership and business development while also coordinating the company’s mentor programmes, supporting international professionals in building their careers and finding their place in the Danish labour market. For him, these two areas share a common foundation: understanding people, connecting perspectives and creating opportunities through strong relationships.
Per brings more than 20 years of experience from the life science industry, with a background spanning business development, marketing, sales, innovation and project management. Throughout his career, he has worked with a wide range of stakeholders – from customers, healthcare professionals and user organisations to internal teams, business partners and international organisations. He particularly enjoys working at the intersection of different perspectives, where dialogue and collaboration can turn challenges into new opportunities.
His professional background combines a degree in chemical engineering with a Bachelor in Business Administration and extensive experience in commercial and strategic roles. He has led international projects, developed market and business strategies, managed product launches and built stakeholder and partnership programmes across markets. This has given him the ability to combine strategic thinking with a strong focus on practical implementation and results.
At Relocare, Per is motivated by the opportunity to bring his experience into a new context. As Partnership and Business Development Manager, he focuses on understanding customers and partners, identifying opportunities and developing relationships that create long-term value. Through the mentor programmes, he also contributes to helping talented international professionals navigate the Danish job market and realise their potential.
Per is naturally curious, open-minded and empathetic. He speaks Danish, English, German and Italian, and enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds and perspectives. He believes that successful partnerships are built on trust, genuine interest and the willingness to listen.
Outside work, Per enjoys travelling, learning languages, cooking, art and culture, and singing in a choir.
