LAG & FLAG Thy-Mors is supporting Relocare

Why Relocare – Hold on to the International Gold

Highly educated, international employees coming to Denmark to work are worth gold; this can be read in newspaper articles in Denmark. However, a large part of these valuable employees leave Denmark prematurely, because they do not feel comfortable in Denmark.

Immigration Law Change

A new Danish immigration law introduces the Fast-track scheme, allowing certified companies to quickly hire highly qualified foreign employees without waiting for permit processing. Employees can begin work immediately after submitting their application, provided they meet certain conditions and enter Denmark legally. The scheme includes four tracks: high salary, researchers, internal training, and short-term stays. Companies must be certified (with at least 20 full-time employees and Danish-standard employment terms) and attend an informational meeting with authorities. Permits can last up to 4 years. The law takes effect on April 1, 2015, but companies can apply for certification now. Relocare offers assistance with the process.

Talent Management in in Professional Football

Professional football offers strong lessons in talent management that many companies can learn from. Football clubs recruit, develop, and retain talent with structure, early investment, and continuous feedback — areas where many businesses fall short.

Key points:

Early development: Football nurtures talent from a young age; companies often start too late.

Team integration: Clear roles and shared goals help manage strong personalities.

Employer branding: Happy players (employees) attract new talent.

Frequent feedback: Ongoing evaluation keeps performance on track.

Relocation support: Cultural and personal support is crucial for international hires.

Retention: Individual development plans and a strong environment build loyalty.

In short: A people-focused, structured approach boosts both team and business success.
